Fallen of Tau is an action-adventure roguelike featuring highly skill-based combat, a nonlinear narrative, and an emphasis on whimsical discovery. The Sanctum of Life will require you to salvage powerful artifacts, duel to the death with adversaries of legend, navigate traps set for intruders of your ilk, and chart the stronghold of a lost empire as you guide the Endling's quest to solve the mystery of Clan Tau. Procedurally generated levels doctor a new test for your growing skills each time you play.

Embrace the freedom to balance ranged weaponry with the art of the melee, or become a master of one such discipline. Lay waste to your foes by channeling your own Will Power into a devastating magic. Items you find throughout the Sanctum will diversify your playstyle even further, whether by empowering you directly or giving you entirely new attacks to weave into your combat loop.

A World Around You

Uniquely for a roguelike, storytelling and lore are at the heart of Fallen of Tau. Immerse yourself in the melancholy world of Vrodlim, and study its inhabitants like the many Dweller tribes and the elusive Impric Empire. Experiment with the items you find to discover more about their role in the world, and collect scraps of text to stitch together even more sources, learning more of Vrodlim's history with every run.
